Event Date: Sunday December 01, 2019
Event Location: Bondi Beach - Registrations are in the Event Site on Bondi Beach.
Event Start Time: 10:00am, race briefing on beach at 9:45am and will be repeated prior to the start of each wave
Course length & structure: approximately 2.4km (depending on conditions on the day) keeping all high visibility fluoro pink bouys on your right. The final bouy is fluoro green as is the giant sheet hung from south Bronte headland to help with course navigation once swimmers have passed Mackenzie's Point.

Minimum Age of Competitors is 13 years old on race day.
Instructions for entering a team:
Please note the 2019 wetsuit allowance and prize policy. If you swim in the Elite Wave, you are not eligible for age category prizes.
The Bondi to Bronte Swim will offer a separate wave for the fastest swimmers. This Elite Open Wave will be the first wave off the beach (see terms and conditions which includes the swimwear policy applicable to Elite Division Entrants only).
Competitors from last year’s event who swam in the 'Elite Wave' are eligible to enter into the category again.
All other entrants for the 'Elite Wave' should submit an entry for the 'Elite Wave' to the Race Director for consideration.
Approval is given by the Race Director whose decision is final. If you would like to enter into the 'Elite Wave' on the race day you will have
to seek approval from the Race Director at the 'Elite Wave' registration table.

Why do we have waves?
Why are 10 min breaks scheduled between the waves?
$500 cash to the 1st male and female Elite category winners.
$500 cash to the 1st male and female Dash for Cash winners.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st & 2nd Male & Female in each category.
All prizes must be collected at the presentation at Bronte Surf Club 1pm following the swim, or from Bronte Surf Club.
Unfortunately, due to the cost of postage we are unable to post prizes after the event.
Wetsuit wearers will have their own category and will not be eligible for overall or age category prizes.
B2B Teams Prizes: each team member (4 max) of the fastest team in their age category wins a prize!

Once you have achieved your goal of completing this classic event, why not test yourself against the best surf competitors in the 'Dash for Cash'.
Open to anyone who has completed the Bondi to Bronte swim. You've got to be in it to win it!
The Dash for Cash will be held at Bronte Beach after the 'Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim' is complete.
The 'Dash for Cash' is divided into two groups, the male and female, who race each other over a 250-350m course through the surf around a buoy and back to the beach.
The winner takes all, the combined cash prize this year is $1,000. $500 for the male and female winner, there are no minor prizes. It's all action in the 'Dash for Cash'.
