All entries rolled over to 4 December 2022.

 Following an Event Committee meeting today we have made the tough decision to reschedule the Macquarie Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim & Banana Boat Junior Ocean Swim to Sunday 4 December 2022.

Whilst this is hugely disappointing for all involved, as a lifesaving organisation the safety and health of both participants and our army of volunteers is paramount.  Sadly, there is too much uncertainty around current water quality, with significant debris in the water, a strong smell of pollution, poor water clarity and more rain forecast this week.

We wanted to act early and decisively to minimise inconvenience for those who have already signed up. In that respect we have set a new date and we will honour all current entries at the 4 December 2022 swim. 

We also acknowledge our fantastic sponsors Macquarie Bank, Engine Swim, Banana Boat and The Kids’ Cancer Project who are continuing their support on the new date.

To everyone who has entered, we are super keen to see you on the first Sunday of summer! We have automatically rolled over your entry to Sunday 4 December 2022.
