TaskWiz is a volunteer management platform built for the community organisations behind events like the Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim - sporting clubs, schools, festivals and not-for-profits.
It was created by Marc Schregardus, a long-term member of Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. Following the 2024 swim, he was asked to help with a challenge familiar to every event organiser: coordinating hundreds of volunteers across roles, qualifications and shifts using little more than spreadsheets.
TaskWiz grew out of that problem. It brings availability collection, role allocation and volunteer communication into one place, so organisers spend less time on administration and more time delivering a safe, well-run event. The platform was used to help coordinate volunteers for the 2025 event - the swim it was originally built to serve.
Built and operated independently, TaskWiz is now available to community organisations across Australia. Right people. Right roles. Right time.
